# BPs Have Completed the Multi-Sig for FIP#12, RAM Rental Price Adjustment Proposal Takes Effect

EOSC mainnet nodes have completed the multi-sig for the Proposal to Adjust RAM Rental Price proposed by eosawake and sky.eosc, which has officially taken effective on September 26, 2019 (UTC+8). The current price of RAM on EOSC mainnet is to deposit 2 EOSC to get 1KB of RAM.

Based on different governance concepts, EOSC community started the EOSC mainnet at the genesis block height of 1 after optimizing the election mechanism of EOSIO. Through persistently upgrading EOSC mainnet, EOSC keeps developing into a decentralized high-performance smart contract platform, establishing the basis for the mass implementation of crypto economy.
