# BPs Approved Multisig of EOSC Mainnet Contract Size Adjustment Proposal FIP#8

On August 10, 2019 (UTC+8), EOSC Mainnet Contract Size Adjustment Proposal proposed by JiqiX has been approved by the multisig of more than 2/3 of the BPs. In accordance with EOSC mainnet consensus, the proposal was passed through.

This proposal proposes to adjust the transaction contract size limit to 2MB. The effectiveness of the proposal means that EOSC mainnet will be able to support more complex contract deployments.
